Go on a holiday with beautiful scenery and the feeling of freedom cantering on a great horse near Brisbane, Queensland!

We spend the 3 days of riding and exploring some magical trails around Benarkin Forests in Somerset and around Blackbutt in the South Burnett region. There are so many fun tracks to zip around on and enjoy including riding through a beautiful pine forests. The riding is fantastic and each day is different. You can expect plenty of trotting, cantering, hills and lots of fun.

Day 1: We head along the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail towards Nanango. We will turn off the trail and explore some fantastic bush tracks – walk, trot, and canter. Lots of these tracks are soft for the horses to get up and go on. Some great hills to play on too. Approx. 4 hours of riding.

Day 2: We set out from camp in the opposite direction to Day 1 this time heading towards Linville along the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail. We will dart off the rail trail and find ourselves zipping around the pine forestry on some awesome tracks. Eventually getting back onto the trail trail, have a bite to eat, and ride back to camp. Approx. 4 hours of riding.

Day 3: Our last day of riding, and always fantastic. We will do a circuit which we tell riders is like a little roller coaster of fun. Some hills, some longer stretches to canter along, and great views of the countryside. Approx. 2.5 hours of riding.

Our horses are reliable and lovely to ride. We supply a yummy breakfast and saddlebag lunch each day and each night we will head to the Blackbutt Pub for a big country meal. We can cater for special dietary requirements!

We are offering swag style accommodation at the Blackbutt Showgrounds. The showgrounds have bathrooms and great hot showers which are great after a day of riding. So if you prefer a proper bed, we can book you a room at Blackbutt’s Historical Pub, Hotel Radnor.

You will need to bring your own sleeping bag and pillow for the swag. You can bring your own swag or tent if you prefer. We will be set up under cover so your swag and gear will be out of the weather!
